Since its inception in 2008, CI's GVA Fellowship Program has provided 100 student leaders with housing, a competitive stipend, and critical staff supervision as they engage in formative service projects in NYC.

Join us for the 2026 Community Impact/George Van Amson (GVA) Fellows Showcase. Fellows from Barnard College and Columbia University will share how they partnered with local nonprofits this summer and the impact of their service on the community and their own journeys.
