A House in Austin is home base for a community of parenting support serving families on Chicago’s west side We were founded on a simple idea: every family, every child deserves the same opportunities for high-quality early learning, nurturing support, and parent education.

Our holistic, two-generational model promotes emotionally-responsive parenting to build strong bonds from the beginning. We know, and research confirms, that this bond sets the foundation for all future relationships and makes all the difference for a child’s future. We currently offer empowerment through—

-Home visiting program using Parents As Teachers, an evidence-based program
