Explore Aerospace Badges for High School/Community College (TeenFlight), Middle School (InFlight) and Elementary School (TakeFlight). We are thrilled to announce what we will be doing next and how you can help us bring our programs to deserving students. We have great sponsors that are providing supplies for our badge program, and we need your help to provide the staff!

Funds raised will allow us to launch our Badge Program for Back to School. Students in Portland and Hillsboro will have the opportunity to attend a site-based program at no charge. Each badge will be given after 6 hours of participation in site-based programs that demonstrate the use of Kerbal (via Twitch) as a learning tool (not a gaming program. The students aren’t actually playing it). Onsite leaders will add context, clearly demonstrating the connection between online learning platforms around Aerospace, the specific use of Kerbal, and the power of virtual engagement.

Upon completing their first badge each student will receive a free copy of the Kerbal Space Program along with “next steps” to continue their exploration of Aerospace College and Career options.

Badges: Orientation to flight, Drones, Powerplants, Robotics, Space Travel, and Solar System
