Nationwide, more than $1.9 billion in DEI‑related (education + DEI contracts + equity programs) funding cuts have been confirmed. These cuts have created a $200k gap in the upcoming year's budget, threatening the essence of our work—our youth programs, cultural education, and community wellness initiatives that have supported over 300,000 lives for nearly five decades.

In response, Alkebu-lan Village launches this urgent campaign to garner support from the village families, friends and supporters. Our financial sustainability and resilience as an institution is not possible without the support of our community and village. A monthly subscription of $25 from 700 people will close this gap. This campaign is not just about dollars and cents. It’s about preserving our liberated zones. It’s about affirming that our children, our families, and our future are worth investing in.
