Serve-a-Thon is a special day set aside for our school community to step outside of the classroom and live out our faith through service. It gives students the opportunity to put Christ’s love into action by meeting real needs and serving others with humility and compassion.

On May 6, our entire school will dedicate the day to serving others. I am excited to take part in this day of service and am asking if you would consider sponsoring me. All donations go directly to our scholarship fund, which helps both new and current families afford the rising cost of Christian education.

Your gift is tax-deductible and will not only support me as I grow in a lifestyle of serving, but it will also help our school continue to minister to students and extend Christ’s love throughout our community. Although Serve-a-Thon takes place on one day, its impact reaches far beyond May 6. Serving is woven into the fabric of our school, and through our service-learning curriculum, students participate in ongoing acts of service throughout the year.

This year, our theme is “Transformed,” based on Romans 12:2:

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will.”

As a school community, we are learning what it means to allow God to transform our hearts and minds so that our actions reflect His will. Through Serve-a-Thon, we seek to live out this transformation by serving others in meaningful and Christ-centered ways.
