The Arts Commission’s Emergency Grants for Artists program offers financial support for local artists whose creative work has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Our creative workforce has been hit especially hard during this unprecedented and challenging time. In the wake of massive event cancellations and the resulting loss of freelance income, many of our artists are feeling anxious about the future.

Although we can’t predict the extent of its impact on our local arts community, we are sensitive to the many challenges ahead. Toledo's artists have always been at the center of driving a sense of community and enriching our neighborhoods, while fostering a creative economy that contributes to revitalization.
