“To bridge communities and generations through art, culture, education and business”
Asia Pacific Cultural Center (APCC) serves as an interactive cultural crossroads that promotes the greater understanding of the Asia Pacific people and their unique traditions, art, history, and heritage. APCC was founded in 1996 by a small group of citizens representing three generations of Asians and Pacific Islanders, who recognized the need for greater cross-cultural understanding of the Asia Pacific people. They established APCC as a center of cultural exchange, representing 47 countries of the Pacific Rim.
For 24 years APCC has been working hard to serve the community through our programs and services, including our Asia Pacific Cultural Program, our Promised Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Program, our outreach and education programs, and all the many, many activities and services we provide for the Asia Pacific community. We are a hub for our Asia Pacific community - people know they can come to us for help, they know where we are, they know we speak their language, and we are a trusted messenger of information to bring resources for youth, elders, families, and individuals of all backgrounds.
Our programs and services would not be possible without your generous support. Your investment in APCC is an investment in a healthier, more vibrant, more enriched community for future generations.
APCC is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
Asia Pacific Cultural Program
The Asia Pacific Cultural Program provides a large variety of activities that teach and engage people in Asian and Pacific Islander culture and art, and that promotes a greater understanding of the Asia Pacific people. Our program includes large exhibitions and festivals, performances, workshops, classes, and educational booths and displays.
Promised Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Program
The PLOT Youth Program helps low-income, at-risk Asia Pacific youth stay in school and graduate by helping them overcome barriers such as gangs, violence, family dysfunction, cultural and language barriers, behavior problems, and other issues. We provide mentorship, wrap-around services, educational support, and cultural connections to help students achieve success in school and in life.
APCC provides Community Outreach to inform, educate, and support the Asia Pacific community about social, economic, health, and many other issues that affect them, and to connect Asia Pacific people to important resources.
