About Ujima Unbound.:

From the very beginning, our community has rallied to ensure that students have access to a high-quality education from the lens of the African diaspora unlike any other school in our city. Because of donors like you and our annual Juneteenth fundraiser, we can provide services like family therapy, daily meals for students, support for our teachers and technology.

As we prepare for students to return to campus, expenses have skyrocketed to ensure we meet social distancing and safety standards. As we grow to include Kindergarten, 1st, 6th and 7th grade this year, equipping classrooms and student workstations with the tools they need is a top priority for our return to the building.

Giving Levels:

$9 - Imani: One Culturally relevant Book for student

$19 - Nia: Tribe Member Swag Bag

$49 - Kujichagulia: Field trip for One Student

$119 - Ujamaa: One Laptop for Virtual Learning

$219 - Ujima: One Socially-Distanced Work Station

$419- Kuumba: Creative Labs in a classroom

$619 - Umoja: Uniforms for an entire class

Founders Group Giving Levels:

$1000 - Empowered Teacher Training

$2000 - School-wide Family Therapy for One Month

$5000 - Love a Classroom: Smartboard, Uniforms for Entire Class, Classroom Library, + Student Supplies
