YOU DID IT! Thanks you to your generous support, we reached our $125,000 goal and have paid off the Conservation Fund loan for the TriTown Forest Preserve, conserving this amazing piece of property forever. Thank you to everyone who donated and shared and volunteered to help make this a reality!

In 2018, the Avalonia Land Conservancy saved over 500 acres in North Stonington, Preston, and Griswold, creating the TriTown Forest Preserve. This preserve protects critical habitat for wildlife and important watersheds, while also providing some amazing trails for outdoor activities.

To save the TriTown Forest Preserve, we were provided with a generous loan from the Conservation Fund for $877,000. We have paid over $775,000; as of June 2020, we have approximately $125,000 left to pay. The deadline to pay the loan is March 20, 2021 and we must meet that deadline.
