Welcome to our Virtual Food Drive! 

Food insecurity continues for many students across the America as they begin and continue their academic journey into college.  Students may very well often come from families who are struggling with food supply which is where the Food Pantry steps in to help. 

Due to COVID-19 our food drive has turned virtual! This means, you can now text "BERKELEYFEEDS" to 44-321.  Donations will be made to the Berkeley College Foundation to support the ongoing efforts to keep the Food Pantry supplied. 


Want to donate actual items?  

We can accept dry and canned food donations and any food that is “shelf-stable” or nonperishable.  That means, you can keep it in your pantry and it won’t go bad. Here's a list of items our Food Pantry needs:

• Butter spread (peanut butter, almond butter, hazelnut butter)

• Canned fruit

• Canned vegetables

• Canned beans

• Canned Meats

• Canned Tuna, Salmon, or Sardines

• Canned or Dry Soups

• Canned Stews and Chili

• Canned Juices

• Canned Pasta (Spaghetti “O’s”)

• Coffee (ground no beans)

• Hot and Cold Cereals

• Jelly (plastic jars)

• Juice Boxes 

• Nuts

• Mashed Potatoes

• Pasta (most prefer whole grain)

• Powdered Milk

• Rice (brown rice, whole grains)

• Spam

• Tea Bags

• Water

We also can accept personal care and household items, since many students are unable to afford such items:

  • Toiletries  

  • Toothpaste 
  • Lotion  

  • Toothbrush  

  • Toilet paper 

  • Paper Towels
