Operation Mejor uses the Spanish word "Mejor", meaning "Better". We learned this term used often from the coffee producers at Cafe Tio Conejo, an eco-friendly farm in Manizales, Colombia. They have grown from their ancestry to look at the more positive things in life and strive for progress.

The founders of Cafe Tio Conejo and our coffee company, The Black 6 Project have teamed to bring aid to the community of Manizales. We are in the planning to phase to rebuild a school close to the farm of Cafe Tio Conejo. Expected rebuild date will be in March 2020 but we will be traveling with our recon team in September 2019 to see what challenges this rebuild will have for us. After the project, we plan to have volunteers teach English, tech, tourism, hospitality, and marketing. A plan we hope can help bring more prosperity to the people of Manizales.
