Blessings in a Backpack became a 501(c)(3) organization in 2008, providing backpacks full of food to kids who, on the weekends, might otherwise go hungry. For many of these students, lunch on Friday is their last guaranteed meal until breakfast on Monday at school - that's nearly 65 hours of food uncertainty.

Since 2008, Blessings in a Backpack has made more than 20 million hunger-free weekends a reality for kids across America - thank you!!
