The BAF is definitely facing unchartered waters during COVID-19. Although the foundation is still serving its mission each day, the foundation has lost over $400,000 in event revenue due to cancellations from March – June. So, it is time for us to go Virtual!
So, when Medical Advisory Board Member – Brian Jankowitz, MD found himself sheltering in place atop his Peloton, thinking about his patients, he came up with the idea to ride in support of the BAF – we said of course, and hope others will join him! Every mile cycled will be in honor of a brain aneurysm patient.
If we can’t ride together physically, we can band together by riding apart for brain aneurysm awareness. You pick the place and time! Each participant will raise funds by reaching out to their networks to sponsor their Ride for BAF. The dollars raised will go towards education for medical professionals, support initiatives, and research funding to be awarded in 2020. Even though we would love to ride with you, it would mean the world to BAF’s mission if you could find the time to Ride for BAF and raise funds that could ultimately save lives and change lives for the better!
Become a fundraiser and raise $500 or more by July 31 and receive a BAF t-shirt and swag!
