The BAF is definitely facing unchartered waters during COVID-19. Although the foundation is still serving its mission each day, the foundation has lost over $600,000 in event revenue due to cancellations since March.
So, when Board of Directors Member – Karly Soulas found herself safe at home and spending quality time behind her jogging stroller dreaming of the days when she could run a few miles without stopping, she got to thinking about how she is always motivated by a good cause. She came up with the idea to Run a 1 in (5K)0 to represent the #1in50 that are at risk of an unruptured brain aneurysm in the US – approximately 6million people - we said of course, and hope others will join her!
If we can’t run together physically, we can band together by running apart for brain aneurysm awareness. You pick the place, time and distance! Each participant will raise funds by reaching out to their networks to sponsor their Run for BAF.
Can you find a few minutes to Run for BAF, raise funds for research, and ultimately save lives?
