The BAF is definitely facing unchartered waters during COVID-19. Although the foundation is still serving its mission each day, the foundation has lost over $600,000 in event revenue due to cancellations since March. So, when Deb Coulter our Director of Development decided to walk 30,000 steps with her daughters on Mother’s Day to represent the number of lives lost every year to a brain aneurysm in support of the BAF – we said of course, and hope others will join them! If we can’t walk together physically, we can band together by walking apart for brain aneurysm awareness. You pick the place and time! Each participant will raise funds by reaching out to their networks to sponsor their Walk for BAF. The dollars raised will go towards education for medical professionals, support initiatives, and research funding to be awarded in 2020. Even though we would love to walk with you, it would mean the world to BAF’s mission if you could find the time to Walk for BAF and raise funds that could ultimately save lives and change lives for the better!
