The Brookline Teen Center is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides after-school programming for 6th through 12th-grade students that live or go to school in Brookline and is completely independent of the Town of Brookline, relying on the support of generous donors such as yourself to operate. In todays increasing world of technology dependent connection, places like the Teen Center are increasingly important.
The Teen Center has become a place of community for people of all ages and walks of life, through many good times and at times of struggle. It’s a space to bring people together in a time when our world seems increasingly divided and our technology can isolate one another. One of the great joys in the center is seeing the phones on the charger behind the front desk and teens interacting with one another.
Over the past year we have hosted countless music recording and rehearsal sessions, hosted community gatherings like our recent TeensGiving where we served 50 students a full thanksgiving sit down meal, counseled many an individual student through the struggles of adolescence and employed over 35 students through youthscapers and jobs at the BTC. This is not to even mention the daily gathering of 50-75 students everyday to socialize and play.
YOUR SUPPORT MAKES THIS POSSIBLE!! As we approach the year end please consider the Teen Center in your giving plans.
