Barbara is incredibly excited and honored to be a part of this year’s Dancing with the Broomfield Stars. Growing up in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Barbara spent her days in ballet, tap and jazz classes, and as she grew older, she was a member of both the Civic Ballet of Chattanooga, and Terpsichord, a modern dance company. Although dancing has taken a back seat to work, life and kids in recent years, she is very excited to be dancing again as part of this year’s event.   Barbara moved from Chicago to Denver in 2004, sold on the promise of “300 days of sun.” She has lived in Broomfield for the past 10 years, and became involved in Broomfield’s professional community when her event planning work took her to a restaurant at Flatirons Mall. She joined the Broomfield Chamber and soon after became an Ambassador with the Chamber. Barbara moved into her current role with N2 Publishing in 2014, and publishes a community magazine for the Anthem Highlands and Denver Highlands neighborhoods, which help introduce neighbors to each other and connect local business owners with residents in the community. In her spare time, Barbara enjoys spending time with her twins, Jordan and Ilana, and also enjoys volunteering. She loves that she’s been able to use her magazine to help provide visibility to local non-profits like Broomfield FISH, A Precious Child and the Broomfield Community Foundation.

She is excited to partner with Jason Saxe of Booth Dancesport Ballroom, and feels very lucky to be able to give back in a way that brings together her passion for dance and for philanthropy in one amazing night.
