Doc Brester

by Brown County Community Foundation

Help us raise funds for the Dr. James Brester Animal Treatment Room at the new  Brown County Humane Society animal shelter.

Doc Brester spent over 52 years caring for the pets of our community. Now is our  chance to honor his work. For a limited time, donations will be matched up to $100,000 to secure the naming right for the treatment room in the new shelter. A total of $200,000 is needed to secure this naming right.

Matching funds are being provided by the Howard Hughes Legacy Passthrough Fund.

Donors who contribute $1,000 or more will be listed on a recognition plaque that  will be displayed within the treatment room once completed.

Donations in Doc Brester's honor will be accepted through December 31st.

If you prefer to donate offline, all donations must be processed by the Brown  County Community Foundation to qualify for the matching funds. Donations can be dropped off to the BCCF at 209 N. Van Buren Street or they can be mailed to BCCF, PO Box 191, Nashville, IN 47448. If mailing, please indicate Doc Brester match on your check.
