Rooted in the compassionate Hospitality of St. John of God, Camillus House improves the quality of life of those who are vulnerable and homeless in South Florida through the provision of a continuum of housing and supportive services.

FROM SMALL SOUP KITCHEN TO BEACON OF HOPE

For six decades, Camillus House has offered hope, healing, community and dignity to the poor and homeless. We serve the voiceless, the abandoned and forgotten, the many suffering with physical and mental illnesses and with substance abuse disorders.

Today, as one of the largest and oldest service providers caring for the homeless in South Florida, Camillus House serves more than 34,000 individuals and families with life-changing programs for help victims of human trafficking, homeless veterans who have served our country rejoin the society they fought to protect.

FROM HOMELESS TO SKILLED AND EMPLOYABLE

We also provide educational and job development with onsite certificate training programs that are helping homeless women and men earn and keep good-paying jobs.

In all these efforts, large and small, we are guided by the legacy of compassion and hospitality that marked our work from the start.
