What is Giving Tuesday?

Giving Tuesday is the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. This year it falls on December 1st, 2020. Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.

What are we raising money for?

Our SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM. This year we've given out $2,500 in scholarships for families in financial need. This number is continuing to increase as many families have lost income from COVID.  2021 brings much uncertainty and more and more families need financial assistance to give their children the opportunity to be involved in enrichment programs a part from being behind a screen all day. Our students should still be able to participate and have a positive outlet despite the pandemic and the negativity that has resulted in our world. Help us bring these under-resourced students the joys of dance.

How will your contribution impact our mission?

$12 sends one student to one of our classes and $100 allows them to participate in a session for 8 weeks. Giving all children the opportunity to participate in dance education regardless of their resources helps in fulfilling our mission and serving our community through these challenging times.

Please consider making a donation that goes towards a good cause and changes the lives of people that we serve through the performing arts in dance. Help us raise our goal of $2000.

Our Mission: To make dance education accessible to ALL people regardless of location, ability, or resources.

Our Vision: To see all people interact, understand, and embody the life changing power of dance.

Our Values: 1) Equity > ensuring that our participants have full and equal access to opportunities that enable them to lead healthy lives. 2) Empowerment > creating independent, confident learners that advocate for themselves and the arts. 3) Collaboration> working to understand the value of each individual and/or community partner.
