We are a community-driven, grassroots organization passionate about improving the quality of life for children affected by childhood cancer and dedicated to helping families heal and thrive.

Our Mission

Empowering and educating families by providing curriculum-based activities that focus on wellness solutions and sustainable, non-toxic spaces. Our programs, evolved from our beloved Rooms to Thrive™ initiative, excite and inform families on ways to enhance their quality of life and support their children's thrivorship. Our community-partnered events allow families from all backgrounds to connect, support each other through different stages of their child's cancer journey, and share their burdens.

At the Carsyn Neille Foundation, we invest in thrivorship. Nearly 70,000 adolescents and young adults ages 15 to 39 are diagnosed with cancer in the United States each year. Globally, an estimated 250,000+ new cases of cancer affect children under 20 annually. Each day, approximately 250 children worldwide die from cancer, translating to 91,250 kids who lose their lives to cancer every year. This means 91,250 parents will grieve the loss of their children and, in most cases, suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Symptoms. Of the children diagnosed, only a fraction will survive cancer, with 15% diagnosed with anxiety, 10% with depression, and another 15% with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Research shows that sustainable design strategies, rooted in the principles of complementary and alternative medicine, can improve the quality of life, promote strength, imagination, self-worth, and aid in the recovery process.

These sobering statistics, coupled with our personal experiences, inspired us to create the Carsyn Neille Foundation. By transforming interior home spaces into sanctuaries, we provide hope and comfort to families affected by childhood cancer, helping them heal and thrive. We believe our efforts can make a significant difference in the childhood cancer community.
