CASES provides essential programs and services across New York City’s including to men and women living with serious mental illness who are homeless or unstably housed and youth and young adults who are out of school, lack a diploma, and are unemployed. Most of our clients have histories of involvement in the criminal justice system. In response to the pandemic, CASES has swiftly adapted our work to keep our clients and staff safe, while continuing to deliver the critical services our clients need. This includes mental health treatment, assistance for addressing urgent needs related to hunger and shelter, and remote and virtual delivery of education and employment services.
CASES' clients are finding it increasingly difficult to secure food, supplies, and shelter, and often don’t have access to adequate technology to stay connected with CASES' staff. These individuals need continuing support to maintain good health, address day-to-day challenges, and sustain progress toward education and employment goals. During this unprecedented crisis, your donation will help CASES to continue to operate and stay connected with the clients who need us most.
