BIPOC Opportunity Project

All gifts will be matched dollar-for-dollar–up to $50,000–thanks to the very generous support of U.S. Bank.

We are at a critical crossroads when it comes to the economic outlook for millions of Californians. The pandemic, it’s financial fallout, and racial inequities have made it clear - while some may emerge financially stable, many could end up in fiscal ruins. Those most at risk of the latter are Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC).

It has become more and more apparent that, if we at CCEE are to achieve our vision of a financially and economically literate California, we are going to have to focus more directly on BIPOC and equip our educators to successfully reach them.

Join us to help fund our new BIPOC Economic Equity Initiative - #BIPOCOpportunityProject. Our goal is to raise $50,000 between October 1 - November 1. All gifts will be matched dollar-for-dollar thanks to the very generous support of U.S. Bank.

Your support will ensure that CCEE’s educator-focused programming fills the glaring gaps in the financial education of our school system by delivering timely, engaging, and relevant content to our most vulnerable populations. We are committed to transforming students’ lives and showing that they truly do matter.

We have an ambitious goal, and we need your support to make it possible! Please consider making a donation and spread the word by using #BIPOCOpportunityProject. Together, we can get ahead of a future crisis.
