On behalf of the consumers we serve, and all people with disabilities, the Center for Independent Living of Northwest Florida, Inc.  would be honored if you would join us to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Center for Independent Living of Northwest Florida, Inc.  “Honoring Our Past, Planning Our Future” through our online campaign located on our Facebook page. Be sure to like and follow (click on “see first” under the following tab) our Facebook page so you don’t miss anything!! This campaign will occur between July 1st-31st. We have an exciting schedule planned of fun and entertaining videos that will be in the style of TikTok, online auction, educational pieces, thought provoking stories, quick sign language tutorials, interactive activities, music, giveaways, and more!!

As part of our online campaign, we will also celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) by recognizing members of our community who are leaders, advocates, and volunteers.

By participating in our event, you show your support for the Americans with Disabilities Act, which is (in President George Bush’s words) “the world’s first comprehensive declaration of the equality of people with disabilities and evidence of America’s leadership internationally in the cause of human rights”.
