Central Dakota Forensic Nurse Examiners (CDFNE) is a nonprofit organization providing expert, trauma-informed medical forensic care to survivors of sexual violence, domestic violence, human trafficking, child abuse, and neglect. Our specially trained Forensic Nurse Examiners care for individuals of all ages, from infants to elders, across 23 counties in western North Dakota.

In 2025, our nurses provided care to 306 survivors, offering compassionate support and critical forensic services in acute, delayed, and follow-up settings.
