The mission of The First Tee?
Our Mission is to impact the lives of young people, including those with special needs, and Veterans, by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.
We offer the opportunity for all students to learn the Nine Core Values and Nine Healthy Habits of The First Tee program. Additionally, our program serves children with both physical and learning disabilities, veterans with vision impairment and people with paralysis. While our founding mission of helping children with disabilities is still an everyday commitment, we also provide life skills and life enhancement opportunities to all young people through the game of golf and The First Tee program.
Why support the 50/50 Raffle?
We use these additional funds to assist children and Veterans who may not otherwise have access to the game of golf and the core values taught by the sport. Funds raised through the 2020 Honda Classic 50/50 raffle will provide for student scholarships for golf course programs, specialized equipment, training for our coaches and to help us maintain the 12-acre Finnegan Learning Center in Dyer Park.
How do you contribute?
