Textbook costs can be the break point for students working towards a certificate or degree. The average cost of a textbook is $100 per book. For for 1 term a full time student can pay >$500 for textbooks, which can exceed $1,500 per year!
Our goal is to raise $150,000+ and provide each certificate and degree seeking student at Clatsop Community College with a stipend for each term of 2021-22 to help cover textbook costs.
