Community Farmers Market is a non-profit, year-round, producer-only farmers market, dedicated to connecting local producers to local consumers through outreach efforts to make local food more affordable, accessible, and approachable for everyone.

We have been able to successfully remain open for our Community and local food producers during this pandemic. Thanks to our Community's commitment to buying local, our vendors able to sell have consistently done well these past few weeks. But as a non-profit organization, Community Farmers Market is beginning to feel the financial strain of remaining open as an essential business during the pandemic. We are grateful that we are able to continue bringing fresh, healthy, local food to our Community. It is needed more now than ever! But to be able to remain open for our Community, we had to scale back our vendors to meet regulations. We have temporarily lost half of our membership, which in turn means that our weekly income has been cut in half. Expenses have continued coming in, and the need for food assistance in our Community has increased during this time. We were not eligible for current federal relief efforts. We rely heavily on the generosity of our Community to help fund our outreach programs - programs like our Double Dollars Program (doubling SNAP/EBT, WIC, Senior Nutrition, and Big Red Dollars), our Fresh Rx Program (providing fresh produce for expectant moms on Medicaid), and providing local produce for families or individuals in temporary emergency need of food assistance. Would you be willing to make a tax-deductible donation to our outreach-driven organization? Thank you in advance for your generous response to our Community’s need!
