Domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse and neglect — these are not faraway problems. They occur every day in Jackson Hole. And when they do, Teton Youth and Family Services and Community Safety Network are here to help. We’ve been here for over four decades, and we’re here offering safety and hope around the clock, every day, all year long.

Now, we’re launching Growing Stronger Together. This fund will support our organizational services that complement one another to give hope to families in crisis.

An exciting opportunity accompanies the launch of the Growing Stronger Together fundraiser — local philanthropists Ted and Noa Staryk have pledged a contribution match of $50,000 for every new donor giving to the organizations.

Together, our organizations give families and victims safety, tangible support, and advocacy. Though our missions remain unique, our work intertwines in innovative and impactful ways to provide families a path toward stability, safety, and opportunity-rich futures. Our collaboration empowers us to offer those in the most difficult situations a lifeline — from aid in navigating crises and providing emergency housing, to acquiring life skills, to developing a stronger sense of self and trust.

We help families establish stability and make first steps in the wake of trauma, and ultimately take strides toward healthier, hope-filled lives.

Our work has always been important in the community, and the challenges of the past year have underscored the critical role both of our organizations play. Covid has inflicted new levels of strain on individuals, families, and the community as a whole. As pressure has risen, more of our community members are at elevated risk for violence, exploitation, and trauma. Our services and support are more important than ever before. And in the coming months and years, they will continue to be critical.

Together, we can help all families in Jackson Hole survive overwhelming challenges, and emerge with stronger connections, healthier skills, and abundant hope for brighter futures.

We are deeply grateful for the generous support of our title sponsor — The Hughes Charitable Foundation. Their contribution will allow us to continue providing support to families facing overwhelming challenges, and help them emerge with stronger connections, healthier skills, and abundant hope for brighter futures.
