The Compton Conservatory of Music offers students in grades 3-12 in the city of Compton and the surrounding areas in Greater Los Angeles the opportunity to learn to read, play, and interpret music. Through intensive and high-quality vocal and instrumental instruction and performance experiences, our program fosters self-esteem and teaches children the analytical, creative, communication, leadership, and teamwork skills needed to make music and excel in future endeavors.

Many of our children come from low socioeconomic disadvantaged backgrounds, with little to no access to music education compared to neighboring communities. Unlike many other organizations in our community, our music education program is free to our students each school year. We cannot do this alone!
