A one-hour event, featuring local human trafficking survivors and law enforcement.
Hosted by husband and wife team - Fox 2's Veronica Meadows and Channel's 7's Simon Shaykhet, hear about how the DCC identifies Human Trafficking Rings and stops them. You will also hear from local human trafficking survivors and law enforcement working in the field.
All proceeds benefit the Detroit Crime Commission's Anti-Human Trafficking Initiative.
The Detroit Crime Commission is a non profit created in 2011 which focuses on public safety in South Eastern Michigan.
The DCC's Anti-Human Trafficking Initiative was created as a way to identify Human Trafficking Rings in Michigan. Using sophisticated software solutions, analysts are able to track down human trafficking rings and stop them.
