The Fiesta Especial® Royal Court leadership and life skills development program provides a unique, fun and exciting environment for individuals to work on communication, socialization, leadership, self-advocating, problem solving and planning skill sets. It is a seven month program that begins in September and runs through the end of April.

The Fiesta Especial® Royal Court program offers once-in-a-lifetime experiences, life changing moments, self-discovery, skill strengthening and development, new friends, community awareness and more all tied up with a tremendous celebration. Each participant becomes a part of a community that distinguishes achievements, recognizes diversity and provides a platform for giving back and contributing to the local community which supports our program participant’s day in and day out.

Being a member of the Fiesta Especial® Royal Court provides each participant with a unique opportunity to 1) participate in a program that develops leadership and life skills, 2) be in a position of leadership and role modeling to his peers, 3) interact with dignitaries,  4) participate in TV interviews,  and 5) visit schools and organizations to increase awareness for individuals with disabilities.

The first half of the Fiesta Especial® Leadership and Life Skills development program is around campaigning. The Campaign Session kicks off with a workshop and provides supports to each program participant as it teaches the skill sets of Setting Goals, Developing a Plan, Building a Team, Asking for Support, Identifying Networks, Communicating a Clear message, etc.

Each participant’s campaign enables them to put into practice the lessons reviewed in the workshop. 100% of the funds raised through each person’s campaign go to help programs and services for individuals with disabilities. 40% of each campaign goes to the nonprofit of the program participant’s choice and 60% goes toward providing the Fiesta Especial® Celebration Day program for special education and disability programs at no cost to the attendees, their families, schools or programs.

A Fundraiser by Tiffany Leavelle

A Note From Tiffany Leavelle

Hi, I'm Tiffany Leavelle and I'm am raising money for nonprofit. Any money I raise will go to both disAbilitySA and the Autism Treatment Center of San Antonio. I was officially diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome when I was 21. Prior to that I was misdiagnosed for years by doctors. Asperger's, also known as AS, is a high functioning form of Autism and today people are still learn about this condition. I really want to help others like me with this condition so that's one reason why I entered this Campaign for Fiesta Especial. I know the Autism Treatment Center is still expanding and they want to do more for adults with Autism because once you reach a certain age, you don't get help from the Government. So it's up to Nonprofits to help people like me and by helping out my campaign, you will be helping people out in the local community. I want to personally thank everyone who does help from donating to passing the word around. I myself am trying to do my part. Again, thank you for your assistance. Fundraising lasts until Dec. 7th 2018.
