From weekend workshops to summer camps to seed swaps, your donation to E.A.T. South provides Montgomery with healthy food and garden programs for all ages. Help your urban teaching farm grow & be a part of our work in 2023!

Your contribution…

Grows fresh vegetables for area food pantries. (Close to 1500 pounds of vegetables were donated this year.)
Supports summer and after school garden programs for Montgomery’s community centers. (More than 100 children spent sixteen weeks at the farm playing games, harvesting vegetables, and creating their own healthy snacks.)
Offers free monthly garden workshops and volunteer opportunities that help Montgomery grow. (550 adults joined us for garden workshops in 2022, and people of all ages learned while contributing 1700 hours of service to the farm.)
Provides seeds, plants and other materials that help area gardens grow. (E.A.T. South distributed 1400 seed packets and plants to area gardens this year.)
Creates a year round urban farm and outdoor learning space visited by people from down the street and across the country. (An average of 300 people a month stop by the farm just to visit the chickens, relax outside, or see what’s growing.)
