Since 2008, Empowered Minds has been bringing the benefits of yoga and mindfulness to Charleston County Schools. Since that time we have served 9,500 students and their teachers. Our mission is to co-create compassionate and learning-ready classrooms by teaching weekly yoga and mindfulness classes.

Our purpose is to support Charleston County Schools by providing bite-sized and accessible mind-body tools for stress relief and self-regulation.

By connecting mind, breath, and body, we teach students and their teachers to create feelings of order and safety - within the student, the classroom, and the school itself.
