#GivingTuesdayNow is a global day of giving and unity taking place on Tuesday, May 5th, 2020 as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19.

The pandemic has impacted the FD Foundation financially. We have had to cancel or postpone mission critical events, donations have declined in frequency, and our ability to raise crucial funds for FD research has been curtailed.

Our work is still essential to the FD community.

On this special day, you can help the Foundation in two ways:

  • you can make a gift that enables the Foundation to continue our vital work for the FD community;
  • you can promote FD awareness by sharing on social media how the Foundation has positively impacted your life or the life of your loved one(s) affected by FD.

Every year the Foundation provides a grant to NYU which supports medical care and research at the Dysautonomia Center.

We need your help to continue that funding.

Throughout this crisis, our incredible team of physicians and healthcare providers has been on the frontlines while continuing to treat and care for our FD patients via telemedicine. Our Foundation staff has been working with the Center to share updates and provide resources that keep the community connected and informed.

In promoting FD awareness -- we encourage you to give a shout out to your loved one(s) with FD, share the Foundation's #GivingTuesdayNow page with your network, and personally thank a healthcare worker at the FD Center or your local hospital.

Whether you make a gift or promote FD on social media, by participating in #GivingTuesdayNow you're supporting the Foundation, helping us continue the essential work we do for the FD community, and acknowledging the Dysautonomia Center team for going above and beyond when caring for our loved ones affected by FD.
