Our graduates gathered for their first meeting in January full of hope. They walked out having created personal visions and goals for the upcoming year. Now, not even 3 months later, life for them and for all is full of uncertainty.

Our Rotational Shelter Program is a cost efficient model . . . except during a pandemic. Houses of worship open their doors to shelter our families in need. Volunteers provide those needs with gracious hospitality. Our model is the polar opposite of “social distancing”.  Many of our volunteers are especially vulnerable to COVID-19. Our rotational shelter program is currently on pause for at least six weeks. Our current families are safely housed in our transitional homes. We are operating at 50% capacity.

What we do know is that we expect demand for our services to increase. We expect our graduates to need more support. Many of our graduates depend on second jobs with stadiums and restaurants to make ends meet. We are still called to serve the most vulnerable families in our community.

We are currently doing what is necessary and with your support we can do what is possible and before you know it we will find ourselves doing the impossible!  Thank you for your support!
