Season of Hope

by Fashion & Compassion

“Fashion & Compassion brought joy and community back into my life”

~ Lindsay, F&C graduate

Covid-19 has created a “parallel pandemic” of deteriorating mental health, causing countless individuals to face stress and anxiety, magnifying the burdens for those already suffering in our world. The number of people reporting mental health issues has quadrupled during COVID, with 4 out of 10 adults now reporting symptoms of anxiety and/or depressive disorder.

Women like Lindsay, who was distraught with grief over the death of her mother when COVID-19 hit. Lindsay had spiraled into addiction, was incarcerated, and felt lost and alone.

But you changed Lindsay’s life. You gave her hope and helped her to find joy again. Thanks to you, Lindsay will graduate from Fashion & Compassion with the help she needs to feel emotionally secure, to feel loved and safe. Lindsay will have achieved her goals of emotional stability, continued sobriety and supportive community during her time in our program!

Having a community of support and mental health resources are critical to moving beyond emotional hurdles, and thanks to you, Lindsay now has the resources and people in her life to realize her dreams.

On behalf of Lindsay and all of the Fashion & Compassion Artisans, thank you for giving the gift of a more hope-filled future.

“It’s what I look forward to every week.

 Thank you!”

~ Lindsay, F&C graduate
