Continuously encouraging our volunteers to make a difference by attending our Flo Parties and advocating for underprivileged women's health. Learn more at flocode.org.

Where Your Donations Go

- Services that provide free access to menstrual products to those in need

- Educational program to empower families to educate adolescents about reproductive health

- Advocating to waive the sales taxes on menstrual products

We serve humans with vaginas who are unable to afford medical necessities such as sanitary napkins. Our work involves directly supporting women, girls, and trans men. The driving force behind Flo Code’s programs has been to serve the Texas community and address the issue of period poverty in our state.

Last year, Flo Code served over 4,000 people in Texas through our community-based services. Our community’s support has allowed our organization to work towards our mission of ending period poverty. Because period poverty is a nationwide issue, not just third world countries.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are the most important part of our organization. Every two months we host community service events also known as Flo Parties. These service events allow volunteers to package together menstrual hygiene kits to be redistributed to local shelters, organizations, schools, and the homeless. Flo Parties are also used as an opportunity to educate our volunteers on different reproductive issues and products to improve their overall well-being. It’s a safe space to have an open conversation on topics society is afraid of openly discussing due to stigmas.

We love Flo Parties so much that we allow our volunteers to host private events on behalf of our organization. Private Flo Parties are the perfect opportunity to gather a group of colleagues or friends together to create Flo Packs. There are no limitations on who can help! You simply must believe that every menstruating person deserves access to menstrual products to restore dignity.

For public Flo Parties, having the proper budget allows us to be creative in what we’re offering and increase the number of menstrual products we distribute. Our goal for 2020 is to distribute 250,000 menstrual products in Texas and serve 3,000 humans.
