Food Rescue US is committed to ending hunger and reducing food waste by directly transferring fresh, usable food that would have otherwise been thrown away from grocers, restaurants, and other food industry sources to food insecure families throughout America. 

Food Rescue US: 

• Works with over 1,200 food donors
  
• Provides excess food to over 1,000 social service agency partners 
  
• Has created a community of over 6,300 volunteer food rescuers 
  
• Provided over 56 million meals to food insecure individuals and families 
  
• Kept over 75 million pounds of excess food out of landfills
