Food Rescue US - Albuquerque is committed to ending hunger and reducing food waste by directly transferring fresh, usable food that would have otherwise been thrown away from grocers, restaurants, and other food industry sources to food insecure families throughout Albuquerque. 

Food Rescue US - Albuquerque: 

• Works with 18 food donors
  
• Provides excess food to 116 social service agency partners 
  
• Has created a community of 24 volunteer food rescuers 
  
• Provided over 1.8 million meals to food insecure individuals and families 
  
• Kept over 2.6 million pounds of excess food out of landfills
