YOU can help us CREATE Frankenstein's Funeral!
From Oct. 4 through Nov. 3, Frankenstein's Funeral will take groups of just 40 audience members per performance through the novel and the Gothic campus of St. John's Lutheran Church. Guided by the author, Mary Shelley, audiences will interact with the characters through collective actions that forward the plot.
This 200-year-old novel is as relevant today as ever. Found Stages' adaptation is unlike any you've ever seen. The Monster in Frankenstein's Funeral is intelligent and articulate; the female characters are given fuller dimension; and scientist Victor Frankenstein is shown will all his flaws and failings for a truly humanistic and feminist approach to this classic tale.
Frankenstein’s Funeral is Found Stages’ largest production to date. The show will employ more than 30 Atlanta-based artists, and serve upwards of 1,400 audience members over a five-week run.
