Honoring Tony Austin

by Friends of Panthertown

Thank you for honoring our friend Tony Austin with your gift to Friends of Panthertown.

February 10, 2021

On behalf of myself, our staff, and the Board of Trustees of Friends of Panthertown, we share our deepest sympathies and condolences with Tony Austin's family and friends, and we thank you for your support of our work in Panthertown Valley.

Tony was a dedicated volunteer in Panthertown who was currently serving on the Friends of Panthertown Board of Trustees. He had served since 2012. He will be greatly missed.

Tony and his family have been outstanding supporers of Friends of Panthertown for many years. We are grateful for their dedication.

Panthertown Valley is a treasured 6,311-acre backcountry recreation area located on Nantahala National Forest in western North Carolina.

Our mission is to work in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service to conserve this outstanding natural resource while improving the quality and experience of recreational opportunities in Panthertown.

We protect and maintain this special place. Our dedicated volunteers and staff have contributed thousands of hours of their love and hard work caring for 30 miles of public trails for the benefit of all who visit.

Your generous tax-deductible donation will directly support our conservation and stewardship activities in Panthertown Valley.

You will be emailed a tax receipt for your donation, and an acknowledgement of your gift will be sent to Tony's family.

Thank you.

Tony will forever be in our hearts.
