Direct Ask Fundraising Campaign

Please join us to support the Award Winning RESMS Music Program by making a contribution to the FORESMA 2026 Direct Ask Fundraising Campaign. All donations, at any level, will make an impact.

FORESMA is dedicated to ensuring our kids receive a robust music education and one that is accessible regardless of financial ability. We raise money to ensure every student has a holistic music experience, one that enriches their overall lives and education, both inside and outside of the classroom.

Your donations will directly support the following:

Participation in regional festivals, parades and competitions
Purchase and maintenance of musical instruments
Professional small-group instruction and instrument coaching
Jazz Band instructional support
Expansion of the sheet music library with modern music, keeping kids engaged

All of the above adds up to an annual budget of $20,000, closing the funding gap between the program needs and Seattle School District funding support. Your donations will allow us to continue providing this enrichment for our kids.

Donate $100 and pick up a two branded FORESMA seat cushions to help make the cafeteria seats just a LITTLE comfier during concerts. We will have cushions available for pick up at the concerts.

If we have met our total fundraising goal by the time of the concert, we will keep our FORESMA remarks during the Spring Band and Orchestra concerts to just TWO WORDS!

Corporate Matching. Make your donation go twice as far with a corporate matching gift through your employer’s workplace giving program. Thank you to Microsoft, Apple, Sales Force, Disney, Starbucks, and Motorola for providing past matching funds.
