The Friends of the Glen Ridge Library are thankful for your continued support throughout this past year as we very successfully met the needs of our Library patrons.

Now, as we look to the future, we are excited to think of all the great opportunities in store for you and your family. Your Glen Ridge Public Library stands as a vital pillar of our community. Friends is Proud to Continue to Support and Fund:

The Library's online resources (Mango Languages, Libby, Freegal, Bold Yoga, and Craftsy)
Continuing to provide Museum Passes and the continual addition of items to the Library of Things for more access to the physical tools (think…Leaf Blowers) needed to support lifelong learning, creativity, and so much more
Greater investment into eBooks and digital audiobooks to meet the growing demand
Outside pickup lockers for 24/7 access to library materials (maintenance and Insurance)
$1,000 Scholarship to a High School Senior
Summer Reading Program
Programming for all ages and after school clubs for children
Digital access to the New York Times, the Star Ledger, and the Wall Street Journal
Streaming movies and documentaries on Kanopy
Enhancement of the Library’s print materials budget
Refreshments at the annual seasonal Tree Lighting event (Hot Cocoa and Cookies)

Why Your Gift Matters

While we were able to hold a successful Town-Wide Yard Sale, this fund-raising event provides only some of the funding we need to ensure that these special and expanded offerings continue. We are always seeking to expand our cultural enrichment programming (i.e. author readings, intimate music recitals, etc.) A gift to Friends of the Glen Ridge Library in any amount is greatly appreciated. Please know that 100% of all donations make their way to the Glen Ridge Public Library.
