Compton G.IRLS Club believes every girl deserves access to resources, mentorship, and experiences that help her thrive.

In support of our Fall Cohort, we are launching the 100 G.IRLS in 10 Days fundraising drive.

We have 10 days to rally our community.

We’re asking 100 people to step forward – will you be one of them?

Your $100 donation provides the supplies for one girl to participate in our weekly workshops in wellness, youth development, and arts & culture.

Rest assured, contributions of all sizes will support our Fall Cohort. Larger contributions help us cover meals, field trips, and transportation—so no girl is left behind.

What’s the Fall Cohort?

This fall, our weekly cohort program is expanding once again. From serving 12 girls in our first year to up to 70 in our last program – we’re now aiming to support 100 girls at our workshops. The Fall Cohort is a season-long program designed to foster curiosity and help youth become well-rounded and informed. Each week includes interactive workshops that blend creativity, wellness, and life skills:

Arts, yoga, and cooking
Mental health, writing, and finance workshops
Youth development and real-world lessons
Every participant receives supplies, hot meals, field trips, and transportation – ensuring access is free and barrier-free for all.

About Compton G.IRLS Club

Compton G.IRLS Club is a nonprofit organization rooted in the belief that every girl deserves a chance to thrive. Being a girl from the hood can be tough. Traumas and lack of access to resources and knowledge can take a toll on self-esteem—especially in underserved communities like Compton.

We aim to change that. Through exposure to self-care practices, new skills, and hobbies, we connect our girls to activities they can use to take care of themselves.

Our mission is to provide girls and gender-nonconforming youth from underserved communities with access to resources, knowledge, and skills that they might not otherwise have.
