In light of COVID-19 and its impact on the women entrepreneurs we serve, we are launching the Grameen America Economic Relief and Recovery Fund, with the goal of raising $72 million.

As economic activity across the country grinds to a halt, the Grameen America Economic Relief and Recovery Fund will play a vital role in the recovery of our members’ businesses by providing essential capital and support during this unprecedented time of need.

Undoubtedly, in the wake of COVID-19, low-income communities will continue to be inordinately affected by the financial implications of this crisis.

Grameen America is at the frontline of poverty alleviation in the United States, providing loan capital, training and support to low-income women entrepreneurs to start or expand their small businesses. For this reason, we are uniquely positioned to support underserved communities to alleviate the burden of our current economic state.

The Fund will give our members, their families and their businesses the critical support they need to emerge from this crisis emboldened by their ingenuity and resiliency.

Now more than ever, your support will significantly impact our members’ livelihoods and sustain small businesses led by women entrepreneurs across the United States.
