Peninsula Community Emergency Relief Fund

by Greater Gig Harbor Foundation

The #GivingTuesdayNow Peninsula Community Emergency Relief Fund (CERF), housed at the Greater Gig Harbor Foundation, was formed in partnership with community leaders, business partners, local agencies and area nonprofit organizations. The Fund will rapidly deploy essential assistance to help organizations providing direct services to people in our greater Gig Harbor and Key Peninsula community at the highest risk due to the virus itself and the economic impacts we are already seeing. And, 100% of every donation will go directly into relief efforts right here in our community.

CERF is designed to complement the work of public health officials and expand our community’s ability to address all social, health, and economic aspects of the outbreak as efficiently as possible.

“In times of crisis, coordination is vital to getting critical resources to those in our community most impacted,” said Judson Morris, President of the Greater Gig Harbor Foundation. “We are indebted to the philanthropic leadership of our community in working quickly and collectively to support those in greatest need during this time.”
