The COVID-19 pandemic has closed the Gig Harbor Seniors Center (GHSC) as of March 12th. Currently, we are providing a variety of services to all seniors in our community, not just GHSC members.
Launched programs include: Silver Support Shopper Service, a grocery shopping and delivery service; Shelter-in-Place Meals, a Friday meal delivery, made possible by community sponsors and YMCA Camp Seymour and BBQ2U; sack lunches for pick-up, provided by Catholic Community Services; technology tutoring; Buddy Connections; and welfare checks.
With our newly launched COVID-19 programs, funds are needed now more than ever, to continue serving and supporting our most vulnerable population. This #GivingTuesdayNow, help us in continuing this much needed support within our community.
