For over 50 years, Green Guerillas has helped New Yorkers turn vacant lots into vibrant community gardens. These are more than patches of green. They are sanctuaries of peace, collaboration, and belonging in a world that often feels divided.

What protects these sanctuaries? Their champions. The elders who first claimed and nurtured them. The youth who step up as stewards and leaders.
