The mission of a habitat ReStore is to further the ministry of Habitat for Humanity by providing additional funding through the sale of merchandise so that a local Habitat affiliate can become self-sufficient and help more families build their homes.
Our mission for the next two years is to raise funding for a ReStore in Kenosha. We want to become self-sufficient and grow our affiliate. Having a ReStore would not only help us but also the community by providing affordable merchandise for sale not to mention keeping the merchandise from going into landfills. Help us reach our goal so that we can continue to build affordable, decent homes for low to moderate-income families.
How does a ReStore work?
The Habitat ReStore accepts donations of new and sellable, used building materials such as cabinets, lighting and plumbing fixtures, doors, lumber, flooring, and windows, as well as some furniture and household items.
How can you help?
The Habitat ReStore is an ambitious project, and we need the help of a lot of people in many different ways to make it successful.
We are currently seeking a warehouse or store front space in Kenosha, 10,000 sq. ft. or larger, where we could operate our store. Please email email@example.com if you have a building space in mind.
We are in need of financial support in order to open our doors. We’re looking for area businesses and organizations who want to become a sponsor. Please select a sponsorship level that works for your business/organization.
